Garth Brooks
Friend called me the morning of the Garth Brooks concert and invited me to concert! Great show! Great gift from great friend. Garth still has the pipes (but not the hips for the stage performance of old).
Everyone on my Facebook pages were very let down by much of show. He lived up to just what I thought it would be.
Biggest disappointment? Singing Rocky Top at end. Ugh! His voice couldn’t keep the notes and as we left the 1,000 people around us were singing it. People! Sing “Friends in Low Places”! We were leaving a Garth Brooks concert. Not a ballgame....

New York City!
My nephew Tanner won a National Down Syndrome Society photo contest. 500 photos were chosen out of several thousand to be shown in a slideshow on a Jumbotron in Times Square in New York City first Saturday of September!
Tanner’s mom (my sister), his sister Jessie and her child Jack and Mallie Belle all travelled to NYC for three days. Seeing Tanner’s photo in Times Square was unbelievable! But time spent with my sister and two nieces and two nephews is indescribable and irreplaceable.....

Another Boat
Totally enjoyed a day on a friend’s boat on a river far away from our Fort Loudoun Lake! Driving Nahla to meet them was my personal favorite part!
