Bald

I've never brought up the fact I have many bald spots from the chemo over four years ago to Chris. I just keep them covered.

I was taking my hair down tonight & in the middle of a pity moment pointed to a spot and said "You know. I still have a lot of bald I have to hide".

Chris said, "yeah. I know. But oh well. I'm bald too".  I said it wasn't quite the same because he's man.

His response, always in a type of thankful tone, during down times- "at least you're alive Marna".   Love him <3

Chris picked our Christmas day movie. "The Gambler".  He liked it.  I tried to nap but the movie was so horrible it kept interrupting my sleep.  Hmmm....it's bad when I think "Sharknado" was a better use of my time. Hahaha

Jesus is the Reason for the Season lapel pin

A lady came to pay property taxes and left but came back into the courthouse.  She gave me a lapel pin that says "Jesus is the Reason for the Season".

My niece Jessie says Mallie Belle's (her 2 year old) toes are crooked like mine.  I couldn't get her to spread her toes, but yes she does.  Bless it....
